Great little spot. Not sure if we went on a slow weekend or maybe this is what the vibe is always like, but it was so quiet and calm – exactly what we were hoping for on our stay. Absolutely beautiful views of the mountains (sunset was amazing) and the temperature of the mineral pools are spot on. Also, Rick has the cutest little dog that is so sweet! –

This place is a photograph. Real beautiful lighting and ambiance, with a relaxed vibe. I’m so happy they allow dogs as well. Complimentary dog Lucy upon arrival haha, she’s the owners dog and is super chill. Great mineral water pools and a nice getaway with a really cool host.

Everything about our stay at The O Spa was incredible and our experience with our host made the stay even better he was incredibly accommodating and genuinely pleasant. This place is beautiful and exceeded expectations it was our first trip to California and I’m so happy we chose to stay here it was a wonderful vacation.

This place was absolutely amazing! I loved everything about it. I had a fabulous experience at The O Spa. Being here was so relaxing, I did not want to leave. The amenities were wonderful, I absolutely loved the oatmeal soap bar! I will definitely be back to enjoy the spring waters! One day was not enough! Thank you Rick, your place is magical!

The O Spa is a great value! Perfect place to get the Palm Springs spa experience without breaking the bank. The grounds, pools, and community kitchen/lounge make the whole place feel like home. The art, design, and personal touches give it a great charm. The mineral spring pools are the perfect place to relax and heal.

We stayed at the O for a nite on our way to Joshua Tree. It was beautiful and relaxing. The mineral pools we incredible. The communal kitchen, which I thought would be awkward, was in fact charming and well stocked. I would definitely return!!!

Ricks place is a gem in the desert! So beautiful and peaceful!
I can’t recommend this hotel enough! As soon as we arrived Rick greeted us at the door and actually upgraded our room as we were the only guests that night which was really nice of him. The hotel rooms were nicely decorated with a small kitchenette. In the middle part of the hotel there is the pool, spa area (with a jacuzzi type hot spring pool), fire pit and plenty of outdoor seating. The kitchen is well stocked and shared with the other rooms as were on our own we had everything to ourselves. But all the shared areas are big enough so that if there are other guests you won’t be cramped at all. The hotel is also pet friendly with the owners little dog Lucy keeping us company for most of our stay. Can’t recommend this place more and will definitely be back next time we are in the area!
Perfect place for relax with your puppy. Warm mineral water is also amazing. Good location, beautiful and cozy bed. Rick is so kind. We’ll back soon.

Our stay was lovely!! It was exactly what we needed to reset from work and training. It was very peaceful and quiet. We were able to cook our breakfast and enjoy the pools and sun! We will be definitely coming back 🙂 Rick was a great host! He showed us around and made us feel very comfortable! Thank you
Really wonderful spot for a relaxing and lovely vacation. It is near all kinds of places to eat, shop and drink, but definitely does not have a city feel. Cannot wait to come back!
Wow, the spa is incredible — beautiful lighting, plenty of open space, poolside cabanas, giant cold and hot pools, and a Turkish shower. Couldn’t believe it was open all night. The rooms are all inwards facing towards the spa’s courtyard and pools: you can just walk out your door and hop in. Also have to comment on the great check-in experience: we arrived really, really late at night/early in the morning after a long drive down from SF and were a little worried about whether we’d be able to get in, and Rick was there to let us in as soon as we arrived. Would definitely recommend! Seems ideal for a group gathering especially, since there’s a grill/BBQ area and a large central shared kitchen for cooking.

Clean, dog friendly, comfortable! The hot springs and Moroccan tub were amazing! Dog friendly is an understatement! The hot spring pools were amazing, the wife and I and our dog Minnie, can’t wait to return! And it was only 15-20 minutes into Palm Springs. Warning, the owners dog LUCY is a big sweetheart!!! LoL

The O spa was the most relaxing place I have been to in a long time. The ambiance was perfect to what I was looking for in a weekend getaway. Right when we got there we were greeted at the door. The host gave us a little tour of the property and then showed us to our room. The room had a large TV with access to netflix / hulu/ etc. The rooms were small but comfortable. They included a fridge/ microwave. The only issue I had was that the hot water heater wasn’t working so I ended up having to take a cold shower. And the sink was clogged too.. The host said he was working on that. There was a “community room” that had a living room/ restroom/ huge kitchen! Me and my boyfriend ended up making a pizza at 2 in the morning… it was open 24/7.. so awesome. The community room was so stylish.. it had comfy couches and a record player which we were playing with. The courtyard was my favorite place in the whole spa! It included a pool, lots of places to lounge. It even had a turkish bathtub outside with a waterfall shower (with hot water). very cool. Had to take some pictures! Huge statues and palm trees. 420 friendly. The jacuzzi room was huge, more like a jacuzzi pool! It was warm though, not hot. I wish it was a little hotter. Didn’t get to experience the sauna this time. There was a little dog that lived there and he went around to all the guests to get some back rubs!!! This place was so laid back I definitely want to return!!! Make sure to bring your own food and drinks. Loved this place, thank you for letting me stay.

Beautiful place- and absolutely perfect for a getaway. Calm and relaxing, O is the perfect place to recharge. Fantastic stay, fantastic place. Truly loved it and can’t wait to come back. It’s a real gem. Have already rec’d it to a number of friends, and we’re planning to have a group come up soon! Thanks so much. Also- I forgot to tell you that the propane tank on the grill is empty. You might have already known but just FYI! Thanks again so much.

Rick was an amazing host. When I arrived, he gave me a tour of the grounds, showed me where my room was, and offered to help bring my bags in. The place is amazing, I felt comfortable immediately to make myself at home- a perfect blend of chill hippie chic. Left totally relaxed and rejuvenated. Had great conversations with the other guests, but also felt like I had plenty of space for solitude as well. A perfect escape from LA for a weekend. cant wait to go back!
